There was one at the autoshow, the most notable thing about it was the
space saver spare that was identical to the other wheels on the car. I
only noticed it was the Allroad and not the new A6 Avant when I saw the
$49,000.00 sticker. From reports and pictures, I was expecting
something along the lines of a Mercyless Benz ML class vehicle.
The non Audi enthusiast comments (I spoke with the zone rep who happened
to be working the display) seemed to indicate that people just consider
it an overpriced station wagon, those with the $$$ commented they could
get a "real" Mercedes 4 matic Wagon for this kind of money.
Hopefully they will sell enough to make them available to those of us who
will be looking at a used one a decade from now.
