Yeah, mine took me about 12 hours. I was one of the first there,
and one of the last to leave. What took me so long? I had turn
the cam to see if the valves would hit the pistons,  then figure out
a way to test if they actually did or not. And I had to replace the
valve cover gasket three times while trying to get the valve cover
gaskets studs back into the correct holes. And diddle around with
the camshaft seal. And ...
Hey, it all went back together eventually. Next time I'll use Mountain
Dew.
