Yes.  The compressor must be run at least once a month (see your owners
handbook) to distribute lubricant around the system.  Switching on the
aircon in February may seem bizarre, but Audi says you have to do it.

I have a reputation for being fierce about wastes of bandwidth, but I
don't mind seeing announcements of events, summaries of participation
close to the event, and short reports on the list.  I'd ask that
detailed arrangements be taken off-list.
