For 84 and 85, Audi used the same hood for the 5000S and 5000S turbo.
For 86 and later, the 5000CS turbo (and turbo q) got a different hood.
It still has lines, but is different (shallower double crease on each side,
running the length of the hood instead of the single crease in a trapezoidal
taper.  Presumably this is to achieve a better integration with the flatter
one piece turbo headlights that was also introduced at that time.  The
non-turbo cars continued with the "old" style hood.
