::The commonest problem is a broken wire, not a burnt ::through wire. It's
::resistance wire and not particularly well suited to ::flexing.
::
::I've never had any luck repairing the elements - I ::always follow Audi's
::advice and insert a new element into the seat cover. ::The old one
::stays in place.

I fixed the driver's side seat on a 4kq years ago; the little pill at the
back that makes a small bump (temp sensor?) had a wire break off. Quick
solder; worked for years and many many thousands of miles.
