Let me say this to you all. If you don't trust my intentions, don't help.
You are not obligated.  The reason I am handling all of this is because it
was my idea.  I am not keeping it a secret from Todd.  I have no idea if
Todd knows about this or not.  He does read the list.  I imagine he does.
The reason I thought about getting a Palm is because he expressly told me he
did not care that much about the $$ worth of stuff stolen.  He can work
extra hard to get that back.  It is the loss of information that has hurt
him the most.  IE, a Palm is a great way to keep the information is several
places with minimal risk to loosing it all in one shot.  My effort is not to
be applauded.  I would not do this for everyone, it just happens to be that
I met Todd through the list we have been good friends.  He has helped me in
many projects and vice versa.  Now, I felt it was of value to try and help
him.  I was simply trying to invoke the help of others who share the same
passion and would feel the same way Todd does if their Audi was busted into
and their "life" stolen.  Not to be rude, but I really don't care if you
feel good about what I am doing.  I am not doing this for you or me, but for
Todd.  Finally, if you want to email Todd, email the list and ask him for
his email address.  I won't give out personal information without his
consent.  Remember, it is his choice if he wants to let others know his
email address, not mine.
