new water pump whistling

I have the same problem w/my 5kcstq. It's been almost a year since replacing 
the water pump, so I've lived w/the whistle/squeal. Tell me what you find 
out cuz I'd be very interested.

It seems there was a discussion long ago that some pumps (those not made in 
germany) whistle/squeal, whereas german ones don't. Or maybe I'm making that 
up...
