  I tried the post, but couldn't get it apart.
  So, on Phil Payne's recommendation, I took 
  the feed directly off the alternator.

  Yes.

   I used Blau's wiring harness. Expensive, but 
   worth every penny. It includes everything
   you need -- relays, wires, fuses, connectors.

I still need to jump the "light out" relay, but
it was the best investment I've made on the car.
