Subject: 4-pin connecting plug for multi-function temp sensor..

So I have this new multi-function temp sensor that I got from Euro Car
Parts to replace the old corroded dead piece of junk in my '89 200. It's
the new one with the 3-pins instead of 4. Off I go to Audi to get a
replacement female connector to fit it, having seen the plug described
in the ETKA CD section listing electrical connectors. If I want it I
need to buy the loom it is attached to. The 2 electric and electronics
stores here in town don't have such a connector. The auto electrical
place said hack up an old loom with a decent plug on it. Auto supply and
parts stores were also a bit blank on the topic. Seems like a common
connector I've seen in many a car. Need a female connector with 4 slots,
small wedge for correct alignment and 2 clip holes to fit over the 3-pin
male connector on the sensor.

Well, off to get a used one then. :) Don't want to use spade connectors.

G.
