How Many '97 A8's were produced?

A8s are the only Audis in recent years that _have_ traded below book in
the UK.  I suspect the reason is the insurance cost - there is only one
bodyshop in England equipped for aluminium body repairs, and with there
being no competition they can (and do) charge what they feel like.

They're also crap, but that's beside the point.

Oh, I nearly forgot.  "Wayside" in Milton Keynes.
