Redline in my 4kq?

Alright a few people i have talked to have had not so good experiences with
Amsoil in a quattro gearbox.. but as far as i know redline is supposed to be
great. i just want to make sure before i plunge down my cash... if anyone
has any difference in opinion please let me know.
I am looking at the MT-90.. GL-4 oil...
this is the correct oil.. right?
i am however going to run Amsoil with Amsoil filters on the engine..
hopefully i will be as happy as everyone else i've talked 2.
