That's what I was on about. I've heard alot about the solids taking away
valve float at higher rpm. The engineer was talking about less blow by.
Hmmm...

My concern to him was maintainance, but he reckons doing it properly
will fix that. The guy's definitely a perfectionist, but into the big V8
scene and bikes.

Now I'm really interested on why solids are better than hydraulics. If
maintainance wasn't an issue, what would be the best for a hard pulling
performance engine? Don't take into account that I am currently going
for factory to start with. :)

Project? That it is. Was initially a rebuild. :) Been at it over a year!
