Well, I never thought of _that_ explanation but it seems rather logical
to me ;)
But in everyday language, Kiste is just a simple, rectangular,
styling-less box, which in itself would be no compliment, either.

BTW: Many people refer to the Type44 (100/200/5000) and even V8 as edgy,
quite rectangular.
I always wonder how taste can shift. When it same out in late 82, people
called it "streamlined piece of soap" and those aerodynamic cars in
general were regarded as too smooth and without character.
Today, the new A4 or the Mercedes C-Class both have cd-values of .28 the
German Audi 100 had .30!
