Clunk noise under my '85 Cpe GT

I'm afraid that happens on all of the 4k's and coupe's I've encountered.
Had a '84 4ks and my 4kq that I still have still does it.  Also had a '81
5kt that made the exact same noise.  They all do it especially with the
wheels turned and under braking or acceleration.  I replaced all said items
and still had the same noise.  Although the noise got less frequent after
all these things were changed, it was still there.  Anybody else had this
experience?  I would also like to hear of a fix!
