Michelin Man Hose

This was a brand new hose - 1" split wide open at the bottom.

Was accelerating up slight grade ~85mph loaded car, pulling trailer with 3
I5 motors.  Inattentive driver pulled into my lane I let off the throttle.
When I got clear to pass going up hill, car wouldn't do more than 3 PSI
boost.

I now have the hose wrapped with so many opasses of tape, I can't forsee
this thing blowing.  I would like to try to fabricate a beefier hose with
the proper shaped end to the Throttle Body.
