re. Fuel tank access on an '87 5k wagon?

He's close..probably found it by now.

Best bet is to remove the trunkwell cover. 4 Bolts gets it out of the way.

Also Remove rear seat bottom(not necessary but laying the rearseats down
flat helps to work on this easier.  

The carpet should just roll back.  The round cover and fittings are just
behind the passenger side rear seat.

Have fun! It's a lot easier on the wagon then the sedan.

I know where the access is on my sedan, and I told my Dad (who owns the 
wagon) that's it's probably somewhere just behind the rear seat, but Dad 
pulled up the carpet in the cargo area, and found more carpet.

Before I tell him to keep digging, am I in the right area?
