Please, please guys - can we trim a bit?  Dan's extra headers are bad
enough, but there were 141 lines of quotes, dead sigs and other rubbish
accompanying this one-line comment - over FIVE KILOBYTES!!

It's not even so much me - Dan has had to provide bandwidth to send
1800-odd copies of this crud out. That's over NINE MEGABYTES assuming
my 1800 figure to be correct - and people sometimes wonder why the
list is slow to respond.

As from tomorrow, I'm going to start binning emails from persistent
offenders unread.
