Brake fluid change / brake bleeding

Long message snipped, re: broom handle holding pedal down.

I use the Gunson EZBleed (sp?) as has been recommended here time and
time again. (Got mine from the Lotus parts place called RD
something...*not* shock place, different vendor, check the archives or I
can search for a link.) Best 30 bux I ever spent.

I did not need to do anything except fill the bottle with fresh fluid,
screw the cap on the MC Reservoir, connect the air line to my (deflated
to 20psi) tire, and bleed away. Takes much longer simply to get the car
on and off stands and get the wheels off and back on than it does to
bleed the brakes and clutch (and don't forget the clutch). A good tip
also is that ATE Super fluid is available in red and blue so you can
alternate colors to clearly see when fresh fluid is coming out when
flushing. (ABS equipped 1987 5ktq.) HTH
