Like this one, Mike? :-)
(Just kidding, Mike. I enjoy most of the off topic posts also. In fact, I
may offer up more of them than a number of our esteemed list members. Dogs
beat the daylights out of the "T" word, IMO.)
Now if I could just get one of my Siberians to screen and delete incoming
junk e-mail... <Aside - Brownie? Didja hear that? :-) >
Luke,
My vast experience (half-vast, perhaps?) with dogs suggests that it can
take VERY little time for a dog to do a LOT of damage. Leaving a dog in a
car for a while in cold but not terribly severe weather should be no real
hazard to the dog. A hazard to the car perhaps but not the dog. Don't be
put down by comments to the contrary.
BTW, I had a dog (the father of my current lead dog) who once ate a seat
belt buckle. It took him perhaps three minutes to nearly demolish it. I
also have a dog now who, due to circumstances, was forced to spend an
entire night in my Audi. Brownie slept peacefully for the entire time and
did absolutely no damage to the car other than shedding a few hairs.
