Fault Code for 86 type 44 QT

Not a terribly difficult job. The code reffers to the sensor in the output
end of the IC. The sensor is held on by two 6mm(?) allens bolts, and has two
wires leading into it. You will need to cut and splice in a new sensor as
there is no plug or terminal to allow easy removal of the original sensor. I
suggest using solder and heat-shrink tubing as opposed to the crimp
connectors, but others have use them in the past w/o any problems (or so
I've heard). You can probably find a good used one at a yard for dirt cheap
(I did). Just poke around with a multimeter to test the sensor (I believe
the resistance values are on SJM's site somewhere).

Best of luck!
