Mechanic needed East Bay (Oakland CA)

Hi gang,

I just resubscribed to this list after a long absence.  I found my last
Audi mechanic through the list, but alas I've moved 3000 miles away from
him, so I guess I need to find a new one!

I'm in Oakland, CA, and would like to find someone close to home. I have
an '88 80Q.  It's stock, with 167k on the odo, in good shape but in need
of some attention (the check engine light has started to come on briefly
on occasion, and the idle is fluctuating.  Oxygen sensor perhaps?)  I'm
just looking for a good mechanic, not looking to turn her into a hot
rod.

I looked at the mechanics page (http://www.audifans.com/mechanic.html),
but I was hoping to find someone closer to home.  Bay Area traffic being
what it is, I would rather not have to go to the peninsula or south bay
if there is someone good closer.  I also tried looking through the
archives, but didn't see anything relevant.  Do the archives have a
search engine that I missed, or is calling up each file and doing a
"find in page" the only way to search?

Any recommendations would be welcome!
