USA A3 sighting

A woman that works for H&R springs in WA state has an Audi S3 with H&R
springs and displayed it at the 1999 SEMA show here in Las Vegas. She said
it was no problem importing here to the USA. I'm not sure what she had to do
to get that car here. All I know is that car was BEAUTIFUL and I would be
glad to trade my 90 Quattro Coupe for it ANY day.

        at least i think it's an a3 - the two-door car, looks like a
        vw golf?  i saw one tonight, southbound on highway 280 near
        highway 92 (sf bay area).  i think it was orange.  it was
        badges a-something on the left rear, 4 rings in the upper
        center, and 1.8 TDI on the lower right.  the car had a
        california plate.  wonder how they got it in here.
