Is a Fuel Distributer for 84 GTI combat w/ 82 Rabbit 1.7

If my memory serves me, the 82 has K-Jetronic and the 84 has
KE-Jetronic.  Thus, the fuel distributors and the air flow meter
unit as a whole are not compatible.
