Pin assignments are laid down in DIN 72552. I once tried to get a copy
and hit all sorts of barriers. One of our number once started
collecting these pin assignments on a web page - I've forgotten who it
was. Anyway, I stole the web page and use it all the time from my
pocket organisers. It's now at:

As always, justified corrections will be made on request. The original
creator might also step up and take the credit.
