Is a Fuel Distributer for 84 GTI combat w/ 82 Rabbit 1.7

unit as a whole are not compatible.>

Right - you will want to upgrade everything and install the OXY sensor.
I've done this and the wiring harnesses are not that difficult to
interchange.  While your at it swap the motor too.
