V8 Wheels -- gold package, bent up, heavy

My Borbet's held up very well until this past Sunday. I was surprised
at how well they took Burlington, VT and the occasional drive into NYC. All
this with low profile tires and exceedingly stiff suspension. They do seem
a bit heavy, but I'd rather have rims that last vs. super lite track rims.
Even when I attacked a curb with the right rear wheel in town with 3
passenger's in the rear the rim needed one extra weight the next time it got
balanced. The rims that were destroyed this weekend both gave out at the
sidewall area. The front is flat, bowed out considerably, and cracked. The
rear rim has a flat spot in the same area. Can't beat the price of these
rims either, $115 for 16x7.5". Construction company should be happy to hear
I shop wisely.
