Yes, but the correct way to write it is with the high beam first. 100/55 is the
way to write it and wont help you in any way, as the low beam is still 55 watts,
just as in a regular 60/55 watt bulb. In the DIN system, the high beam is 56a
while the low beam is 56b. High first, low second.
You could of course go to a 100/80w but I suspect you have another problem, not
the bulb itself. I must admit I hanvent followed this litle thread from start,
but have you inspected the bulbs? I've seen bulbs that were old and "sooted" or
burned just above the filament for the low beam, with decreased output as
result. H4 bulbs are reccomended to be exchanged for new ones every 2nd year,
even if they are not burnt out. They are wear parts, even if they still have
light in them.
