Intercooler blow-out and by-pass valve

Thanks for the reply and the previous mod. doc.
I haven't installed the bypass valve yet, but the parts I'm going to use are
a rad hose from the Canadian Tire parts bin, and some ABS plastic fittings.
I will tap a hole in the intercooler passenger side for one hose and fit a
copper 'T' into the metal downpipe just in front of the turbo rubber intake
boot. Total parts aside from the valve itself totaled ~$20.00 CDN including
stainless hose clamps, pipe fittings, vacuum hose and the rad hose.
I'll let you know how it all works out - and yes Rob Myers felt that the
strapping was not necessary with the valve in place.
BTW - if I want to cap at 2.0 BAR what would the required resister value be?
Not being into the electronic details, what would the colour coding on a
resistor be for the different max boost values?
I am under the impression that at about 2.0 BAR the CIS has reached max
output and any more boost will result in a lean burn situation, or does this
happen earlier?
