A6 2.7TQ impressions

I am not running stock levels of boost in the 5ktq, so it isn't tall
talk, trust me. I had one of them glued to my bumper the other night
with his brights on. So, at the next light I simply left him far
behind. When I slowed down and let him pass, it was a brand new, still
had temp tags less than a weak old, A6 2.7TQ. The driver of that car
was the most obnoxious Audi driver I have ever seen. He also was driving
around with his rear fog light on, which is annoying as hell.
Here in Co.Spgs, we are surrounded by new Audi's of various shapes and
sizes. On average I will see 5-10 just on my 1.5 mile trip home from
work. I am absolutely sick of the new A6 already. They are everywhere
around here, and the majority of the people that seem to drive them are
not what I would call officianados. I am sure there are some out
there, but I think that at least where I live, having an Audi, mainly
the new A6's, seems to be just a status symbol/fad....

Not that very long leap.
The 1991 200 20VQ needs 6,6 seconds to sprint to 100 kmh from
standstill, and
topped out at 242 kmh.
The 1991 V8Q needs 7,6 seconds to do the same sprint and did 244 on top.
The 2001 A6 2,7TQ does the sprint test in 7,5 and tops 245.
As you can see, the 200 20VQ and even your V8Q blows the doors off the
A6
2,7TQ in the sprint test, but in real driving the A6 may be faster, it
is
after all 10 years newer, and as Audi uses as a motto: Vorsprung durch
Technic; Advantage from technichs.
Btw; The S6 takes the 0-100 dash in 5,7 secs and is governed @ 250 kmh.
Same time for the 2001 S4, while the 2001 S8 cuts off another 0,3 in the
sprint time, to 5,4.
The RS4 is just a bit slower than the time it takes to transfer Your
money to
Audi's account when you purchase it: 4,9 seconds. All cars stops at 250
kmh.
All these figures are Audi's official figures for the German spec
6-speed
sedans.
