A6 2.7TQ impressions

Those of you talking about how fast one's 5ktq is
compared to an A6 2.7T, have you driven the cars?

The A6 is pretty fast and off the line, will smoke
any of the older cars because of the much faster turbo
spool-up. Chipped, the engine produces 307hp and is
scary fast from what I've heard. I've not yet driven
a chipped 2.7T, but the stock one is quite nice. It
is faster than any of the older Audi sedans, stock,
sold in the US, in terms of how an owner would drive
the car (no 6500 rpm clutch drops at a light).

I know there are some A6 2.7T owners on the list that
will concur w/ me. I don't own one, but have taken several
long (30 min+) test drives and am convinced of this.
The UrS4/S6 is pretty comparable, but off the line, the
quick spool-up of the K03 will beat an UrS4/S6.
