On some new cars, the rear fog light turns it self off when you turn off the
lights. The Golf 3 and 4 are good examples of this. No chance of forgetting the
rear fog light.

Most of the problem is people forgetting they even turned it on, because they
are virtually sleeping behind the wheel.
