I've heard great things about Autothority chips over TAP, and I plan to go
with Authority on my V8. They should be available now, and as I understand it
(I know this for a fact on VW), all OBDII ECU's should be plug-n-play. They
are solderless EPROMS. I'm not completely positive on the Audis, but I know
it's the case on VW, and I think on all OBDII's.
