Plastic Radiator Repair Question and Story (Medium Long)

Remember that the part of the fitting that broke off had a ridge which
helped to hold the hose in place ... so now to keep the hose on you will
need to tighten the hose clamp more ... over a fitting that has already
demonstrated that it is brittle.  No big deal, I did that myself on the '88
5kCSQA before the fitting broke away again (while the wife was driving on
the freeway) ... when the car got a replacement radiator ...
