Oxygen sensor

I apologize for not following the recent thread re: oxygen sensors.  It
didn't interest me until I realized that my 200 now needs one.

What's the summary - go to Pep Boys / Strauss / (u-fill-it-in) and get a
generic replacement?  A oxygen sensor is an oxygen sensor?  Cst
approximately $40 versus $100+ from the dealer?
