The dial sytem is more in line with a luxury car, and the knobs are 
more utilitarian.  (speculation, btw)  Audi always likes to add stuff 
that could go wrong, dontcha know? :-P

I must admit tho', when things are working properly, vacuum is a 
pretty cool way to get things done.
