85 cgt speedo

Hello all,
    A friend of mine has an 85' cgt with a non-working speedo.  I obtained a 
working instrument cluster for him, and will be installing it this weekend.  
Could someone please give me a btdt on disassembly, etc. since I'm not 
familiar with the type 44's.  I'm assuming the steering wheel should be 
removed.  If so, what is the procedure?  Other than that it looks pretty 
straight forward.  Looking forward to your responses.  TIA
