Shocks for a Van [LAC]

[The Quattro King]

The 92 E350 Ford Club Wagon is in need of new shocks.  I have talked to
several people that said even though the Bilstein shocks made for Audi's and
other euro cars are wonderful, the suck in American applications.  Anyone
have any experience with them?  What have any of you tried out there?  I
considered Rancho but think it might ride a little rough for a 1 ton
passenger van.  What about Edlebrock?  Any other ideas.
