injector cooling plenum replacement idea

On the plenum itself I have done the washer fix. But instead of duct tape, I CAREFULLY wrapped the hose with ordinary aluminum foil, with the open end on the underside, secured with custom (hah!) black wire ties at the ends and in the middle. With a little careful hand molding, it looks like it was intended to be made this way (i.e. ribbed foil hose, with high tech fasteners). And, no sticky adhesive either!

My plastic plenum is broken at all of the attachment points but grossly
oversize washers fix that. When I bought the car, there was no duct
going from the fan to the plenum. I clued into the fact that something
was missing and I got an exhaust manifold heat riser duct from Canadian
Tire. It is a nice aluminum jobby that can be bent easily (similar to
those flexible exhaust pipes, but not as rigid) and it works well, and
looks good too.
