 On another note,   I've known a few people that have bought 45 offset wheels and then had a couple mm machined off the inside hub surface to make it about a 48mm or so.  THen used a spacer in front to retain 45 - 40mm offset.   If you dont go custom and wheels have plenty of material to do this with its an option.

I hope this helps. I also have a tire size conversion chart in xls (Excel)
format if you want to properly plus size tires. It gives you circumfrence and
RPM divergence.
