I hear you shouldn't try threshold braking on nights with a full moon at high tide as well, as the gravitational at high tide coupled with the mystery of the full moon will cause your rotors to suddenly shudder and fly off the wheels like a UFO. :-)
SOrry, I got 4.5 hours sleep in 72 hours and just woke up from an 11 hour slumber. :-) Excuse me while I go take a shower.

The Coriolis force is the apparent torque placed on objects by the
earth's rotation. It is not a major factor in brake cooling.
