I think there are some possibilities to better that airplane maintenance
quality. Doesn`t a mech have a test drive with Your car before charging
You? 

Just make the workshop to have a test fly, with a mech backseated, 
before You accept the plane maintenance? 
So called AAT -airborne acceptance test?

And if they come back too fast...
