I think most people ditch the stock stuff and go aftermarket. After 10-12
years, the technology just doesn't hold up. Add to it the fact that I own
three tapes, I need a CD player anyways. This move can be cheaper than
finding new/used Bo$e amps and speakers from the dealer.

But, to each his own. Purists would say nah.
