Recirculation Flap Return Spring

Simple question I know a hundred people know. I just recieved the
replacement spring for the recirculation flap (type 44, under dash, behind
gloove box) and I need to know how exactly to install it. I can see where it
attatches to the flap, but I can't see where it attatches inside. If anybody
would let me know I'd appreciate it.
