I should have said to unplug the fog light wiring connector to the bulb
socket rather than remove the extra bulb. It's been a year since I fixed
my fog light and I'd forgotten that it was a dual element bulb with the
extra power source wired in rather than two bulbs. I had to disassemble
and clean clean the fog light wiring connector to get it to work, and I
mixed that up with having to clean out the bulb socket on one of the 5Ktq
taillights to get it to work.
