Type 44 fan blower problem

Assuming this is the Electronic Climate Control...
Pull the power connector off the blower motor, attach a DCv meter to
wire connector, start car, put CC in low or high fan setting, see if you
get +6VDC for low, +12VDC for high at the connector.  If so, you made
big boo-boo (not checking to see if new blower was DOA).  If no voltage
at the blower motor connector, problem lies with either the blower motor
control unit (on top of evaporator housing) or CC head unit.  I can fax
you the 1 page from Bentley that shows the trouble-shooting procedure.
