Didn't someone just post the results of an article that ranked the Blizzack-50's as better than the Hakkas?  Check out the test results on the www.tirerack.com for some unbiased comparison between the Alpins and the Blizzacks.  I personally run Blizzacks and am nothing less than thrilled with them.  (Especially when the ABS is manually turned off, cause they still had a tendency to institgate the ABS pulsing).  In 4-5" deep of snow I have accelerated from a stop to redline in first gear, slammed it into second and redlined second and did not slip at all, it was pretty amazing. . .who needs a snowmobile when you have an Audi?
