All,
My wife wants to sell her '91 200q for a Jeep Cherokee. That's not exactly
how I had things planned. I was going to get a Cherokee to replace my Truck
(my wife wanted me to sell)and use it for camping, hauling and such.
Anyway, now that she's driven one she's taken it upon herself to decide I
am selfish for wanting this Jeep and allowing her to continue driving her
200q.
First, the 200 is cosmetically very pretty. Glacier blue with Navy
interior. Mechanically it is also generally very sound. It does need one
rear bose speaker and it does not blow hot air with the heat on. One dash
light also has burned out. It's also getting a new rear bumper as we speak
from an rear ender. Nothing major there.
The bad is it was originally an east coast car. That means anybody
wrenching on it is going to be very frustrated with it. I bought this car
from CPA (may his soul rot in hell for his inability to find honesty) for a
premium. It appears to have paint touched up on in several places. It has
97000 miles and carfax never turned up anything negative although the car
seems to have spent a year inactive.
We have replaced the timing belt, front seals and coolant pump. We also had
a major service done on it 6 months ago to the tune of $500. It has Yokohama
AVS on it with less then 4000 miles. The car is bone stock.
Feel free to make an offer.
Anton
