1988 80 Quattro engine trouble codes

You can't do anything if you're getting 1111 - it's most likely a memory
checksum error in the ECU.  Nothing the ECU says in that condition is
reliable.  Check the voltage it's getting and its grounds - if they're
OK, see if you can borrow a known good ECU to try.
