tie rod end replacement questions

Is there a writeup somewhere on replaceing a tie rod end?  I've got one with
some play in it on my 200, and while I've done replacement in the distant
past - with old small English cars - I'd rather not wind up making the car
un-driveable for a couple of days.

Any input will be appreciated.
