(Warning---this message is highly opinionated)
It looks like they've gone the same route with the A4 that they took with
the A6. It's too bad. They took a nice looking smaller vehicle and made it
a rounded box with terrible lines. Perhaps the worst part of the car is
where the front fender/bumper meet. I'm sorry, but this looks terrible. It
seems as though there's a part of the bumper missing. The same goes for the
rear of the car. I DO like the wheels, and the dual exhaust, but that's
about it. I think it looks like a cross between an A6 and a toyota echo.
The rear decklid is way too small, and the black section around the bottom
of the vehicle is WAY too obvious. I like the idea of the 3.0, but I find
the other engine choices discouraging. Headlights are a little TOO
much.(although I'm sure the US version ones will be much tamer) The current
A4 and previous A6 bodystyles were actually very appealing. Maybe that's
why the A8 still looks a lot like them.

beautifully designed site.
but YUK what have they done with the car? the worst lines
of the passat and a6 combined into our beloved little car.
the interior looks nice, the mirrors, but the rear end?
forget about it. there is probably hope for the avant, as
the current avant looks better than the sedan imo, but
overall it looks like a slide downhill.
the engine choices look interesting...
